Important facts about the BSE

I read from a very reliable source, a commenter on yahoo answers (Diablo 3 Gold), that only 1 in 5 white babies born to never married mothers were surrendered in the 1960s.

Most people could not afford to send their daughter off to those "prisons," but of those who did 1 in 5 kept their babies.

Welfare was almost twice as much in real dollars as it is today. We used to have a regular poster here who managed to get it, and an apartment.

Many here claim they did not know of any single parents, but also claim that they knew single parents were shunned.

Outrageous claims here are routine. There have been two books, a movie and a Dan Rather special about this time in history. None of these reports mention anyone being forced, or bedchecks, or guards, or druggings. These people need to step forward and be counted before their lies die with them (Diablo 3 Gold).

When it boils down to it they admit they stayed because they had no where else to go. Leaving the nest is difficult for everyone but we all find our way in the world.

The bottom line is these women were not willing to change their vision for their future to include a baby. They wanted too much to go to college and marry up.

You ignore evidence from a legit source to suit your personal wishes.

The topic has been written about by adoptees and bmoms but until now, you and those like you have screamed that their 1st hand accounts are meaningless and not evidence. You've ignored other studies and put them down as not reliable sources or that the findings are biased due to an agenda (Diablo 3 Gold).

THIS study, by our gov, a gov. with a vested interest in promoting adoption, admits that their own authoritative researchers have found and acknowledge what, until now, has been unsubstantiated-- that adopted persons face a plethora of problems and issues beyond what the gen. pop. deal with.

You cannot reasonable ignore or discount it now. It is fact. To continue to ignore the truth only marks you as an idiot filled with fear.

Ocean beach/ GG park

I was a beach/GG park van dweller for 2 years (Diablo 3 Gold). I always slept while parked on lower Fulton or Lincoln and was not once bothered by police or assholes.

The toughest part of van living for me was not having my own shower. I like to shower when I wake and before bed...Not going to happen in a van. At least not a stealth van. It is quite humiliating always asking friends if you can shower at their place. I am sure they did not much care for it either.

If you truley wish to go stealth, forget about being able to stand upright in your van. Nothing screams live abord like a 30 year old van conversion. Also forget the step vans and school busses. Those guys are rogue campers who get moved around and eventually towed by police.

I lived in a late model GMC white, windowless cargo van (Diablo 3 Gold), the same van that every company in town has a fleet of, it's about low profile. As I said I never had one problem. Biggest worry is getting hit buy a drunk driver or something.

and like all bare bones boat dwellers you reekloosen up your Tilly hat, Sir Francis...your brain is starving for oxygen and you're beginning to babble as if your delusions are of value in the context of the reality experienced by everyone but yourself.

Dude, I've lived as cheap as you can get on boats all over the world, and you get what you pay for...anything with any level of integrity and safety and weather tightness and ability to stay in one piece without constant maintenance is simply not going to be cheap to purchase and maintain (Diablo 3 Gold), let alone dock/moor in all but the most remote and/or undeveloped/depressed areas...and even those areas are looking for ways to generate revenues, so things are going to get harder, not easier to

do on the cheap.

Individual Acts of Kindness are not enough to turn homelessness around

Individual Acts of Kindness are not enough to turn homelessness around because homelessness is caused by big biz and the gentrification game that makes them huge profits.

How much food is that, and how many volunteers do you think it would take just to feed that number of homeless people (Diablo 3 Gold)? Now I'm a big fan of karma yoga, feeding the hungry, and passing my hand me downs to those in need, but how many of those volunteers can do this 7 days per week?

The article also said... the number of people living "doubled up" -- that is, lodging with friends or family for economic reasons -- rose. And the number of people in poverty who spend at least half their income on rent climbed by 6 percent.

Such changes all suggest trouble down the line. Living doubled-up is often a step on the road to no home, according to the report. A person in a doubled-up living situation has a 1 in 12 chance of becoming homeless within a year.

Other economic circumstances are putting additional pressure on low-income Americans (Diablo 3 Gold). Many people simply aren't paid enough to afford a place to live, while others may be looking for rental units that aren't available in a market wracked by foreclosures.

Meanwhile, the foreclosure epidemic is likely steering would-be homeowners into rental properties instead, which makes the market more competitive for renters.

"There just aren't enough units for the number of people who need them," Roman told HuffPost. The lack of affordable housing, she said, is the nation's "other housing crisis."

This aspect of the housing problem is likely to grow more pronounced in 2012 and 2013, as the number of foreclosures is expected to swell. By the end of next year, the president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York recently predicted, there could be as many as 5.6 million homes in foreclosure.

I am not undermining your noble effort, but just like any other battle (Diablo 3 Gold), there are those on the front lines and others meeting behind closed doors to make decisions that will impact the larger number. We need the foot soldier and the general to solve this systemic problem.

Raising minimum wage to a living wage and addressing the hoarding of housing would be a start.

it's admirable to see someone

it's admirable to see someone willing to be so passionate about the difference between "doesn't exist" and "Unlikely to exist."

I guess when it says, "The new measurements find 0.00±0.07 kilograms of dark matter in a volume the size of the Earth." some people will focus on the 0.00 and say "it doesn't exist," and others will focus on the +-0.07 and say, "see, it still might exist." That person becomes passionate about the possibility that there might be up to 70 grams in the volume the size of the Earth, because the test could not predict anything more accurate than that.

While the level of accuracy of any test is important, my choice is to focus on the 0.00 (Diablo iii Gold), move on and look elsewhere for the source of dark matter. While other scientists perfect the test to solve for the inaccuracy. If you're passionate about spending the time to find those .1 to 70 grams, then I look forward to seeing your paper on the subject. I'll even support you and help you find resources to make your case.

--- Your last statement makes me unsure you understand dark matter. (The following CAP WORDS are for emphasis only - I'm not yelling)

>>> The ONLY thing that says dark matter is there IS the gravity it produces (Diablo iii Gold). Gravity is the ONLY way we have to detect the existence of dark matter. Perhaps, I should have said, "it can't be detected in any OTHER way besides the gravity that it exerts on the stars of the galaxy."

National styles of orchestral performance

Listening to a performance of Holst's "Planets" by the "Georgian Festival Orchestra" (Diablo 3 Gold), conducted by Jahni Mardjani, Sony CD QK 57258.

Clearly, the official British style of playing Holst has not yet penetrated to the wilds of Trans-Caucasia. It is very interesting to hear The Planets in this unvarnished view that owes nothing to Boult, Barbirolli, or Sargent. (Did Beecham conduct The Planets much?)

What's the main difference? It sounds to me like the conductor has done a great deal less fussing with balancing the various orchestral choirs (strings vs. winds, for example) and let the music play itself as written in the score. The instrumentalists do a fine job; Georgia may be a long ways from civilization as we normally think of it, but its musicians have a good reputation.

A less charitable view is that the Georgian musicians in this recording lack a true pianissimo (Diablo 3 Gold).

I am reminded of an off-brand recording of Stravinsky's Apollo by the Novosibirsk Chamber Orchestra. Somewhat like the recording I'm writing about, that performance has all the right notes at the right times, but the usual style given Stravinskian neo-classical music in Europe and North America is evidently unknown in Siberia.

PS: The Georgian Festival Orchestra seems to be something of a ghost ensemble (Diablo 3 Gold), but crumbs of evidence from Google and YouTube suggest that the festival was held in Kutaisi, a city in Georgia. I'd like to know more, as the recording venue is notably resonant.

Don't go there with the controlling nonsense

My opion is based on my own life experience as well as seeing others' children flounder after high school while supposedly taking a little "time off" to find themselves and "focus" on what they wanted.

Some found meaningless jobs that got them some money now (Diablo 3 Gold), enough to have a good time but no future, no career and couldn't be convinced otherwise.

Some get involved with the party life and enjoyed it too much to go back to school. Also ended up in meaningless dead end jobs just enough to afford the life style but nothing more.

And a few did go back to school but on a part time basis ending up taking as long as 6 or 7 years just to complete a Bachelors degree. Some of them never finished their degree at all, dropping out with only a few credits remaining.

Happiness is fine. Life is too bleak not to have some measure of it. But you're risking your future for the present, an all too common approach in America today.

Actually, at the time she was living with her mother. Her mother and I stood at the delivery and together assisted in the birth of my grandson. My stepdaughter was a senior in high school and she finished school with the baby in a program at the school and after graduation went to work (her choice). She and her husband of about 16 years now own their own business and are the parents of my grandson (who, I was just notified is the fist string quarterback and ran for 175 yards in his last game...excuse the Grandma moment, please) and his sister (Diablo 3 Gold), my granddaughter with the disorders.

If she had chosen to surrender, which I cannot in my wildest dreams imagine, I would have done everything in my power to discourage, but ultimately the decision was hers to make. Fortunately, having seen the sadness and heartbreak caused by adoption and reunion, adoption never crossed her mind. She and the father broke up when she announced she was pregnant, so he was not in the picture. Her mother helped her, we helped her and her now-husband helped, but she did it.

BTW, since then she has taken classes at the community college but she really has never been interested in formal education, even before she got pregnant. If she sees a need, she will go back to school for what she needs to run their business.

I understand but...

The only reason I was a little late was she asked me to stop and get a newspaper (Diablo 3 Gold). Her wedding was in the middle of nowhere so it took a while to find a place that had newspapers. If she really wanted shots of gift exchanges she could have waited a few minutes. The issue with the booth may have not even been my fault. She aksed us to set up hours earlier which we don't usually do since it will be left unattended but we did to make her happy. We we left it was working fine. When we got back hours later it no longer worked. We have no idea if one of the many people there messed with it or not. We have been very accomidating and have tried to resolve the issue. We were very professional considering the situation.

Sounds to me like you started on the wrong foot by showing up late and missing some photo opportunities, which is pretty unforgivable, and by not providing the booth services you said you would. The last thing she needs on her big day is to stress out about the photog. It doesn't sound like you were the height of professionalism.

I didnt mean some childishresponse. There are tactful ways to sort of make things right in a comment to a negative review (Diablo 3 Gold). I see it on eBay all the time. If you completely ignore the review when you are given a chance to comment on it, you are missing out on an opportunity. I by no means want anyone to go and start some high school bickering contest... that would make matters worse.

Seizures...Please Read

Here's my story. I am 29yo, expecting my 4th child (Diablo iii Gold), with 3 healthy kids, and 3 healthy prior pregnancies with the exception of anemia. With my 3rd I was hospitalized at 7 months for excruciating left side and shoulder pain. They never concluded what it was and only offered maybe had something to do with nerve compression and baby's position. Anyways, I am now expecting #4 on 12/11/12. Early morning on 6/5/12, I woke up and looked at the clock at around 5am and laid back down and fell back asleep. The next thing I remember, my husband was talking to me, my mom was in the room, and the paramedics were there. My husband told me I had had a seizure. Went to ER, had an MRI, an EEG, sono for the baby, saw a neruologist. Dr said if I had a second, I would have to be put on mediciine. Fast forward to 8/11/12. I woke up early in the morning, looked at the clock, laid back down to sleep, and woke to my husband trying to wake me to tell me I'd had another seizure. He said this was didnt seem as bad and didn't last as long. I didn't go to the ER, but went to Labor & Delivery to monitor the baby. I dont remember my activities for the day or two before the first episode, but I know I have had a "go until i cant then just have coffee" mentality. But I do remember the couple days before the second one, I had been extra busy both with errands and physically doing stuff at home. I had a second EEG which Im still waiting to hear back on, and I saw a different neurologist. He gave me a prescription for Keppra, the antiepileptic medicine. I Have since requested a referral to a neurologist in a nearby large city, as well as the High risk OB in the same hospital. My concern is that I have no history of seizures/epilepsy (Diablo iii Gold), and the medication poses a lot of risks both to the baby and in side effects to me. It bothers me that there seems to be no wondering WHY id have two seizures in pregnancy, but rather just put me on a risky medicine without finding out why. My blood pressure is fine, so I assume they are not anything to do with eclampsia. I have done endless research on what could cause them, while waiting for my referrals. My biggest thought is that they are simply hormone-related, not underestimating the power of pregnancy and the changes it puts on your body. I am wondering if anyone has any similiar experience or input. Thank you so much!
