At the April Pasco County Planning meeting in Dade City the "Villages of Pasadena Hills" was further planned and discussed. This area runs from Hwy. 52 down to Hwy. 54 and from Hwy. 301 over to CR 577 (Curley rd.). There will be 13 colony's within this area, adding approximately 41,000 new homes, along with parks , shopping centers and numerous new roads, some of which are 4 and 6 lanes! When questioned about water usage...Ann Hildebrand (Diablo 3 Gold), Chairman, District 3 answered "That's what Tampa Bay Water is for" and then she giggled! WOW really? All they are worried about is lining the pockets of the big land owners that want to develop their land that is in or around this area, nothing more. Ted Shrader, Vice Chairman, District 1 happens to be one of those land owners...hmmmm. They also discussed changing names of several roads...Handcart, Overpass, Fairview Heights and Kossik. Not to mention all the conservation and wetlands they will be destroying along their path.

Our rural lifestyles are coming to an end in the very near future. If this proposed Overpass Rd. comes through then all the land along its path will be destroyed by pavement, homes, shops, gas stations, etc..
